I’m truly a West Coast girl, however, in a recent visit to Toronto, I have to say that my visit to Dessert Trends Bistro was a highlight, The menu offers a wonderful array of savouries and sweets, but it was the desserts that stole my heart! Not only were they a delightful visual treat for the eyes, but they were also beautiful in texture and taste. If I were able to frequent this bistro here on the West Coast, it would certainly on my list of places to pick up a tantalizing dessert for a dinner party. Chef Don Duong has been the recipient of many awards, including the Gold medal at the Culinary Olympics, and also teaches his skills at George Brown College in Toronto.
