A winter white dinner party

In the weeks following Christmas, it’s often a hard transition from the holiday hype to what can seem like the January blues. I’m about halfway through de-decorating the house, but the Christmas village (now referred to as a “Winter Village”) is still set up and a few remnants of Christmas decor are scattered throughout the house as I systematically untrim the house. To keep things fun for January, we hosted a “winter white” dinner party. I love pulling out my January decor which will get me through to February when I plan to prep the house for Cupid’s arrival! Here are a few photos (thanks for Jenny for her amazing photography) of our winter white evening:

And to finish off the evening, a warm chocolate chip cookie served with salted caramel ice-cream, drizzled with caramel sauce!
